Professional training/courses

Bioinformatics is currently a rapidly growing discipline in both academia and industry. The bioinformatics team at Hap Genomics are passionate about passing bioinformatics knowledge and skill through courses and training programmes. Hap Genomics offers a variety of bioinformatics courses that teach researchers how to design their data analysis methodologies and select the best tools for their research projects.

Hap Genomics offers the following bioinformatics training courses with a focus on improving practical applications by using the appropriate theoretical knowledge:

1. Module I: Unix programming for NGS

2. Module II: Genome-wide variation study

3. Module III: RNA seq. data analysis: Transcriptomics

4. Module IV: Metagenomics

Internships

At Hap Genomics we also provides internship to students, interested in learning NGS data analysis. During the internship, students become part of our ongoing projects, which helps them develop their skills in data analysis and problem solving.

Dissertation (four to six month training)

We also provide four to six months training to the students, which is a part of their major master project. Depending upon the interest of the student, we allocate them project in different areas like Metagenomics, Genome-wide variation study, RNA seq. data analysis, Computer-aided drug designing and more. During the dissertation, students work is mentored by faculties from various reputed institutes across India and Abroad. Below is the list of completed dissertation project at Hap Genomics:
